About me  

I currently work for Taulia as a Senior Software Engineer, where I use technologies like Backbone.js and Java/Groovy. My previous job was at Backcountry.com as a Front End Engineer, where I learned how to optimize pages for mobile as well as speed under heavy traffic loads.

In my free time, I started a company called Spread Stoke, which is a user-contributed online magazine, and was the sole engineer on that project.

In 2013 I graduated from the most intense coding school San Francisco has to offer, called Hack Reactor.

Main expertise

I have extensive knowledge of modern JavaScript development using tools like Backbone, Node, and jQuery. I am also a CSS and Sass expert, and I love creating clean pages and apps that look great on every device. Recently, I have been learning back-end API development in Java and Groovy.

My biggest achievement and my soft skills

I am a software engineer with product and people skills. I love creating new products from scratch, while thinking about the end goal from a user's perspective. I have started a few companies in my free time, and have experience with everything from sales to marketing. I am very hard working and goal driven.
