About me
I am a Russian hacker. I found several vulnerabilities in Linux software, got some CVE IDs. I contributed to ALSA and PulseAudio, and reported bugs against other Linux desktop components.
Also, I have a "Candidate of Science" diploma (which is a Russian equivalent of PhD, i.e. one step above the Master's degree) in Physics.
I would like to find a remote (i.e., work-from-home) job. Preferably, something related to Linux desktop infrastructure, but will also do web development and maybe system administration.
Main expertise
I worked both as a software developer (both web and system-level programming) and as a Linux systems administrator, and also as something in-between. My strong point is that I understand both of those roles and can act as a middle-man between teams.
My biggest achievement and my soft skills
I know when only a perfect result makes sense, and when only a proof of concept is required. I can and will reject others' decisions if I have facts that are against them.
